Consciousness is
For if consciousness is not
You’re not really reading this
And we’ve tied ourselves in a knot!

Consciousness is
But consciousness is what?
It’s foundational and encompassing
Consciousness is all we’ve got!

Matter is
In Consciousness it seems
To speak of it outside
Whatever could that mean?

The self is
In consciousness too
Myself and yourself
Are one not two

Consciousness is
Always was and will be
From its eternal eye
Nothing shall ever be free

What is the nature of this consciousness
In which we arise?
Look in deep
